Refunds and cancellations

Issue a refund

1. 1Open the order and go to Refund.
2. 2Enter the amount (up to what is left to refund) and an optional reason.
3. 3For a full refund you can tick “Return items to stock”.
4. 4Card refunds are sent to Stripe; manual-payment refunds are recorded so your books stay accurate.

A refund can never exceed what was paid, even if two people click at the same moment.

Cancel an order

Unpaid orders can be cancelled directly, which releases their stock. Paid orders must be refunded in full first, so money and order status never disagree.
